CMC has dedicated itself to reproducing the luxury (Lusso) edition of the 250 GT SWB based on a street-version (Stradale) built in 1961. The all-metal model is hand-assembled from 1,141 parts.

Every detail designed by the designer Sergio Pininfarina body is meticulously reacted, accurately and to scale. Exactly crafted an accurate louvers on the front and the rear fenders. Filigree-designed metal wipers equipped with rubber blades. Padded bucket seats and interior covered with finest leather. True-to-the-original dashboard complete with all instruments and control gadgets. Authentically replicated Nardi three-spoke steering wheel in wood-like finish.

Carpeted passenger compartment and trunk floor. Removable spare wheel fastened by a toggle screw in the trunk.

All windows framed in metal. Exact replication of the underbody and the steel tube frame.

Front-wheel suspension with triangular wishbone, coil spring and shock-absorbers, all made in metal. Rear-wheel suspension on rigid axle with lengthwise compound springs, shock-absorbers, and double-sided arranged trailing links. True-to-the-original replication of the exhaust pipes and its chromed metal end. Brake- and fuel pipes, complete with filter, electric fuel pump, hand brake ropes etc.

Description of the original vehicle. From the mid-50's to the early 60's, the 250 GT Berlinetta dominated in the GT racing series.

This model started out with the long wheelbase. From 1959 till its phase-out in 1962, it switched to the short wheel base known as "passo corto" or "SWB". Between 1959 till 1962, some 165 cars were made from the short wheel base model.

To this day, virtually no other model has made such a lasting and sensational impact on the history of Ferrari and had chosen to drive a 250. Among them were Stirling Moss, Wolfgang Graf Berghe von Trips, John Surtees and Maurice Trintignant, to name just a few. Technical data of the original vehicle.
